The Nine O'Clock Cotillion has announced its new members and newly elected board. A presentation dance will be held Friday, March 4, at Cherokee Country Club. Alpha Kappa Alpha Debutantes: March 2011
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Pi Omega Chapter, will host its annual Debutante Ball at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Knoxville Convention Center. This year's theme is "Visions of Elegance" and 22 high school seniors will be presented. The evening features the formal Debutante Presentation, followed by dinner and dancing. The sorority provided several cultural and developmental activities for the debs, including a Knoxville Opera presentation, a Mother/Daughter Luncheon, a Father/Daughter Luncheon, and financial management and etiquette workshops.
